ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Compliance Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our products meet top-tier food safety and quality standards across North America (NAM), including the US and Canada. Working closely with the Group Head of Technical & Quality, you’ll assist with enhancing and maintaining our Food Safety & Quality Management System (FSQMS), manage product certifications, and support our sales team by delivering accurate, timely documentation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and building customer trust through compliance excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
  • Managing product certifications (USDA Organic, GFCO, non-GMO, Halal, Kosher, etc.) in NAM, coordinating audits and renewals to ensure compliance.
  • Support the Group HoTQ in implementing FSQMS processes, including HACCP and global compliance documentation, to ensure consistency across regions.
  • Perform organoleptic and performance testing for shelf-life, complaints, and product sign-offs to maintain quality standards in NAM.
  • Evaluate ingredients and support on-site trials for new product development in NAM, ensuring supply chain integrity.
  • Review customer complaints and contracted manufacturers investigations and root cause analyses. 
  • Contribute to global FSQMS initiatives through data collection, audit preparation, and supplier communication under Group Head of Technical & Quality guidance.
  • Ensuring availability of accurate and up-to-date FSQA documentation to support customer requests.
  • Project-based tasks to support initiatives under the Head of Technical & Quality.

Key Skills needed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years in food safety, quality assurance, or compliance, preferably in food/beverage, with knowledge of USDA NOP and FSQMS.
  • Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and excellent communication for stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workload.
  • HACCP Level 3 preferred.
  • PCQI certification preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge in coffee sensory assessment preferred.
  • Oat milk manufacturing experience preferred but not essential.

YOUR COMMITMENT
This is a fully remote role but requires residence in Central or Mountain Time zones to meet the business travel requirements. You’ll travel ~30% of the time for trials, supplier visits, and team building per the Minor Figures Travel Policy. Hours are generally between 8:00am–5:00pm in your local time zone, with flexibility for travel or urgent tasks.
 
This role is an exempt role working 40 hours per week.
