You will be key to the future success of our business. The role is responsible for our production and warehousing facility in E17 running safely and efficiently. You will lead the production and warehousing teams in delivering great products to happy customers. 

Your role will cover all aspects of production and warehousing from planning and scheduling, maintenance management, HACCP, HSE, QA, financial and production record keeping, storage, despatch and everything else that keeps a successful site running.

We are a scrappy, entrepreneurial business that likes to try new things and test boundaries. Minor Figures are onto something here, but it’s not meant to be simple. This isn’t a role for the straight-forward.

Your role in all this will include but not be limited to:

• Managing the production and warehouse teams

• Ensuring the Production facility and warehouse meet the highest health and safety standards

• Ensuring our manufacturing facility meets the highest standards across quality, service and cost every day    

• Ensure we maintain our accreditations from SALSA and Soil Association and manage our plan to become BRC and FDA certified. This includes managing any audits

• Manage maintenance plans and relationships with OEMs for all of our manufacturing equipment

• Manage and continuously improve all processes from goods in to goods out including documenting all SOPs

• Manage inventory, packing, despatch and order fulfilment aspects of our webshop

• Dealing with all sorts of ad hoc activity from supporting sales and marketing activity to larger projects

• You will also be expected to chip in across the business to support any activity that is going on.

You will report to Ed, our Head of Operations for EMEA and manage your own team of production and warehousing experts. You will work closely with a number of other teams in the business across operations, finance, the webshop team, sales and marketing.

Key skills needed included:

• Responsibility, you will need to do what it takes to ensure production and despatch deliver on a day to day basis

• Forward thinking, you will need to plan and see risks coming down the road so they don't become issues

• Attention to detail, we need to keep thorough financial and production records

• Self-starter, you will be motivating and driving the team forward day in day out

• You will need food or beverage manufacturing experience 

• You will need to be a great problem solver.

You’ll be based out of our Production facility and warehouse in East London. 

The hours of work are 9am - 5.30pm. The role involves managing people working shifts so you will need to be comfortable with some early mornings and late nights. As our demand grows over time you will need to be comfortable with flexing to support the shifts that are required.
