Within this role you’ll spend part of your time coordinating activities and initiatives for our outside sales team, and the other part of your time as an inside sales rep, managing some current accounts while also drumming up new leads. Your day will include data entry, analysis and organizing projects, while also making outbound calls and working closely with some key accounts and the sales team. This role will require flexibility with working hours to coordinate with East and West Coast times zones.
You’ll spend your days on the phone and in front of your computer, and need to be really personable with good project management skills, and also have a knack for quickly learning new systems.
The Sales Development Coordinator is a new support role for the US team, and will play a huge part in helping us over deliver on our sales targets, by making our team and our processes more efficient.
Here's how you'll likely go about that:
Update, manage, organize, distribute and review reports and sales data
Become an expert on our sales forecasting tool, Modus, making adjustments and additions on a daily, weekly and monthly cadence and being the primary point of contact with all stakeholders
Help the sales team with account management initiatives and goals, keep selling tools updated and organized, and update external customer portals with updated company information, items, images, etc.
Manage all sales and marketing sample entries and assist with trade show management and logistics
Inside Sales/Account Management
Actively manage the Zero-Order list, making outbound calls to secure new POs
Qualify inbound leads and distribute them to the sales team via entry and assignment within our CRM, Copper
Build the sales pipeline funnel via outreach and cold calls to new customer targets
Our US team are all coffee people and are very immersed in the coffee community nationwide.
Although the entire team is remote we are a very close knit bunch. We might be a small team but we truly believe in our product and know how to speak the language of coffee. We like to build lasting relationships within our team as well as with our customers.
This role reports to the Vice President of Sales of North America and collaborates deeply with the US sales team, finance and operations.

A master on a PC and excel (Apple is not compatible with some of these systems)

Our entire US team works remote across the country, and the Sales Development Coordinator can be located any where near a major airport within the contiguous 48 states. This role will require flexibility with working hours to coordinate with East and West Coast times zones.
Work schedules are flexible, but generally will be Monday-Friday with flexibility for occasional trade shows and other work related travel that may occur. Estimated travel commitment is <10%.
